5 Lessons I’ve Learned Running My Wellness Through Art Business

When I first stepped into building my Wellness Through Art business, I thought it would be about sharing my art projects and teaching techniques. But over time, I’ve realized it’s about something much deeper: connection, healing, and building a sisterhood of women who truly understand what it means to live with pain, grief, and hope.

Here are five lessons this journey has taught me:

1. Your Story is Your Strength

I’ve discovered that sharing my own journey—through chronic pain, cancer, and loss—isn’t just personal, it’s powerful. It’s what allows others to see themselves in me and trust that I “get it.”

2. Consistency Builds Connection

It’s not about being everywhere, all the time. It’s about showing up in small, steady ways—whether through my weekly YouTube sessions, guided meditations, or simple gratitude practices. Consistency creates trust and connection.

3. Community Matters More Than Content

Courses, classes, and handouts are wonderful—but the true magic happens in community. In the Ripple Effect Studio, women find support, understanding, and healing in one another’s stories. That sense of belonging is priceless.

4. Simplicity Sells (and Heals)

My clients don’t want to be overwhelmed; they want tools that feel doable. That’s why programs like Gentle 7 or Creative Calm are so loved—because they’re accessible, compassionate, and easy to fit into real lives.

5. Energy is the Greatest Resource

I’ve learned to honor my own energy—balancing hospital work, home life, and my creative spirit. Sustainable business growth means pacing myself, not pushing myself past my limits.

Closing Thoughts

At the heart of it all, I’ve realized that this business isn’t about selling—it’s about creating ripples of healing through art, one woman at a time.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to join me inside the Ripple Effect Studio, where we reclaim joy, restore well-being, and rise together in sisterhood. 🌸
