🎨 Mixed Media Magic – Part 2: A Creative Pause Just for You
Hello, lovely ones! 💛
Are you craving a moment to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself — but don’t have hours to spare? I get it. Life gets busy, and self-care can slip to the bottom of the list. But what if I told you that just 20 minutes of creative play could bring calm, clarity, and even a bit of joy into your day?
Welcome to Part 2 of my Mixed Media Quad series – a bite-sized art session designed to spark your creativity and soothe your soul.

✨ What You'll Experience in Part 2:
In this session, I continue working on a 10.2" x 10.2" Baohong Academy Cold-Pressed Watercolour Pad, divided into four playful sections. Our focus today? Play, process, and permission.
We’re using:
-
Watercolours
-
Pencil crayons
-
Sponge & bubble wrap (hello, fun printmaking!)
-
White acrylic ink for that final magical touch
I even share the scumbling technique — a simple but powerful way to build beautiful texture and depth. And as always, I guide you through the why, how, and what of each choice I make, so you’re not just copying — you’re learning, growing, and developing your own style.
💡 You don’t need fancy supplies. Tempera, acrylics, or found objects work just as well. This is about freedom, not perfection.
