πŸŒ• Hello Beautiful Soul,

There is something quietly powerful about the full moon.

For centuries—long before our busy schedules and glowing screens—women and communities gathered under its light. Across cultures, the full moon was seen as a time of illumination, completion, and release.

In many Indigenous traditions, each full moon carried a name and meaning tied to the rhythms of nature.
In ancient Egyptian and Greek cultures, the moon was linked to feminine energy, intuition, and cycles of life.
In Eastern traditions, the full moon marked times of reflection, gratitude, and spiritual connection.

And even now…
You may feel it.

A pull to slow down.
To reflect.
To release something you’ve been carrying.

The full moon has a way of gently shining a light on what’s ready to be let go.

Not in a harsh way…
But in a loving awareness.

And this is where ritual becomes so powerful.

Not because it has to be complicated…
But because it gives you a moment to pause, feel, and choose intentionally.

πŸŒ• A Simple Full Moon Ritual (Make Art. Feel Better. Style)

You don’t need anything fancy.
Just a few quiet moments… and a willingness to show up for yourself.

✨ 1. Arrive

Find a comfortable space.
Light a candle if you’d like… or simply sit quietly.

Take a few slow breaths.
Inhale… and exhale.

Let your shoulders soften.
Let your body arrive.

πŸ’› 2. Reflect

Gently ask yourself:

  • What has felt heavy lately?
  • What am I ready to release?
  • What no longer supports who I am becoming?

Let the answers come without judgment.

🎨 3. Express (Your Art Moment)

On a piece of paper or in your journal:

Create without thinking.

You might:

  • Use colours that match your emotions
  • Scribble, swirl, layer, or soften
  • Let your hand move freely

This is not about making something “beautiful.”
This is about letting something move through you.

πŸ“ 4. Release

Write down what you are ready to let go of.

A thought
A fear
A pattern
A weight you’ve been carrying

When you’re ready, you can:

  • Tear the paper
  • Safely burn it (if that feels right)
  • Or simply close your journal with intention

As you do, gently say (out loud or within):

“I release what no longer serves me.”

🌿 5. Receive

Now ask:

  • What do I want to welcome in?
  • How do I want to feel moving forward?

Place your hand on your heart.

Let that feeling land.

πŸŒ• Closing Thought

You don’t have to do this perfectly.
You don’t have to feel “ready.”

Just showing up…
Even for a few minutes…

Is enough.

The moon reminds us that we are always in cycles—
of fullness, of release, of becoming.

And tonight… or whenever you choose…
You are allowed to let something go
and begin again.

With love,
