Hey there! I'm really excited about tonight's art class with Alexis, and I wanted to share a little preview of what we have in store for our #WednesdayWins this week!
Mandalas
You see, Alexis and her parents are eager to bring more art into her life, and who better to help than the art teacher (that's me, by the way!)? Tonight, we'll be diving into the world of mandalas. It's a beautiful journey of discovering shapes, balance, and patterns that go into creating these mesmerizing artworks.
Compass
I've been preparing for our class, and one thing I've realized is that I'll need circular shapes and circles to make the most of the lesson. But here's the best part: I've got a special tool that's going to come to the rescue! I dug up my trusty compass from my design class back in university, and I'm so excited to put it to use.
Right Tool
Having the right tools can make all the difference in bringing our creative ideas to life, and that's exactly what this compass does. It allows me to effortlessly adjust the circles, layering them one inside another to create the basic essence of a mandala.
Redraw in Ink
As I prepare for tonight's class, I can't help but wonder if there's a tool out there that would let me redraw those perfect circles in pen. How cool would that be, right? Well, we'll work with what we have for now, and I know the compass will help us take our first steps towards making beautiful mandalas.
