ART
Here we are to the last Principle of Design; it is Pattern /Repetition. A pattern is when you have a specific order that repeats itself. The object that repeats itself could be line, shape, colours, textures (any of the Elements of Design).
Patterns can be simple; as in the example with only one object that is repeated:
Or it can be a bit more complex. This has 4 objects to work in the pattern:
So there you go! We have covered the Elements of Design as well as the Principles of Design. If you have any questions concern the Elements or the Principles, please let me know.

SOUL
The premise of my work is that #ArtHeals and #MoreArtLessStress . I believe this in my heart because it is what has happened in my life. I have had many moments of high stress due to my sensitive soul; I have taught teenagers for 27 years, my schedule had me teaching 4 different classes at once, I have gone through depression many times, I silently suffered from high anxiety and I have been suicidal. In addition to talk therapy and medication, I have come through it all thanks to my creation of art at these times. Art helped me express what I couldn’t express on the outside. It was my saving grace.
So this is why I offer art for art’s sake, but also for its healing sake. I want you to come and play and learn while you are creating art. But I also want you to relax, have moments of zen and to have peace while you create as well.
