Kind people make a difference. They can do something nice, give you a smile, open the door or etc.. Today It is snowing and very cold (-29 with windchill) and the sidewalk and driveway need to be done.. We have a big corner lot and with it we have a large corner lot sidewalk. To my surprise, I heard a noise outside. Lo and behold a neighbour had his leaf blower and was blowing the snow off the sidewalk.It warmed my heart! In the past I have had other people do our driveway and others to help with the sidewalk. Pretty amazing neighbours, eh?
To me this is a reminder to be kind to others and be on the lookout on how we can make a difference. It doesn't need to be a grand feat, it could be small but meaningful (opening the door for someone who is loaded with groceries...etc.).It could be a text of love by checking in with another and it is amazing what a smile can do at times.
Be a good neighbour. Be a good person.
