Last Wednesday I went to the Dentist Specialist and I had surgery on a tooth. Like I've said before, they have mastered the pain management in dentistry, but have yet to master the sound (of the drills). It was interesting to hear when the drill met bone in my surgery! Needless to say, all went well.
What I am thankful for is how well my recovery went. I had bruising, but it was nothing makeup couldn't handle. I really want to see the site, but was advised not to pull my lip up as it could cause tearing of the stitches; it will just have to wait for another day. After every meal, I would have to do a salt water rinse. Slowly but surely, I have healed. And after a week, I have little to no pain. I am truly blessed.
