Today for #WednesdayWins I am thinking of some very special people. They are firefighters.
The fire
In Alberta, the province I live in, there are forest fires` throughout the province. It is quite scary. in fact, there is a fire close to home and has impacted the lives of people we love. They have had to evacuate their homes (that is how close it was for them). Thanks to the firefighters, the fire is under control. But there are fires still around us, as I opened my windows this morning and in the air was smoke. Granted with the wind currents, we have smelled smoke far away as British Columbia (next province over).

I am grateful for all those involved with fighting the fires. The dispatch people, the captains and all the firefighters. In our town, we have volunteer firefighters. To me, this is another level of commitment and care. I am soooo grateful for them. Thank you.
