Happy Summer Solstice!
Happy Summer Solstice! The longest day of the year! Where I live that means the sun rose at 4:55 am and will set tonight at 10:14pm; that means there will be 17 hours and 59 minutes of daylight. And today, the rain has stopped and the sun is shining. Just perfect for the first day of summer.
Water Levels
And it is this sunshine that I am grateful for today. We have gotten a wonderful amount of rain the past week, and counted ourselves blessed. With the forest fires, the rain has been a blessing. Yesterday and today, the water level have gotten to the point of almost overflowing, so today's sunshine is a huge blessing.
