Today's #WednesdayWins is about Specialists. Based on what I said in the video, I am grateful that my humble little mouth (😃) gets to see a specialist...but not only see a specialist, but have a Doctor work on my mouth, who specializes in what I need done! One is a tricky root canal that has a large infection at the roots. The other is considered a surgery where he will cut through the gums, through the bone and access the large infection there. Phew! And this is a girl who flosses and takes good care of her teeth everyday!!! We start the process next week as he wants it done sooner than later.
One thing that surprised him was that I wasn't in pain. With cases like mine there is pain! But I told him that I am on a fair bit of nerve and pain medication due to the growth on my spine. I feel fortunate that my medication is taking care of the pain. So, a week and a day, I will be done with the root canal! It will be good to get it all done.
