TuesdayToolsAnd Techniques November 22

artist cards embossing my world rocks my world rocks! my world rocks! class my world rocks! course Nov 22, 2022

Today on #TuesdayToolsAndTechniques , I will share a neat little trick that I use in my drawings to show some texture. It is called embossing. It isn't embossing in the idea that it is a raised edge, but it is one that is marked into the paper. To create the marks you either put a piece of paper on top, press hard to ensure that it embosses the paper underneath, remove the paper, and continue drawing to show the marks. Another option is to use a pen that no longer works and press into the paper. This is a fun technique!
