Sets of Colours
#TuesdayToolsAndTechniques is all about sets! Sometimes, an artistic manufacturing company will sometimes take say, their watercolour pans, and create a set of the colours. This is instead of, or in addition to, a basic primaries set with black.
Art Philosphy
Take for example the Art Philosophy watercolour pan in Complexion; this set has a range of 12 watercolour pans that are complexion like colours. They also have a vivid 12 pan set of colours called Tropical. I personally love these sets as they bring into my collection colours I wouldn't usually have.
Next time in the Art Store...
So, the next time you are in a art store, have a look at the sets of colours they may have in your favorite brand and medium. You might be pleasantly surprised and appreciate the new colour to your repertoire.
