Journals are exciting. The blank pages are ripe with creative possibilities. Starting a new journal is, I find, a happy occasion. I think of all the future creations and thoughts scribbled down. I am finding myself excited about this new Ranger Ink Dylusions Creative Journal, because it is a different type of journal compared to what I usually use. In this Rangers journal, the paper is different, as well as its shape. This will be new experimenting on how my favourite journal supplies will react to the paper (dry times, colour, as the paper is a cast of yellow.
If you have a loved one that is creative, a journal is always a hit, Granted most artists have their favourite journal (size, shape, paper colour, paper weight etc.). It is best to slyly ask what type of journal they use. That way you are surely going to please them. But then there are times when an artist, like myself, spreads my journal wings and try a new type of journal (i.e. Ranger Ink Dylusions Creative Journal).
