drawing drawing techniques squiggles tuesday tools and techniques May 11, 2021

Welcome to #TuesdayToolsAndTechniques ! Hopefully you are doing well on this day. Today's technique is a continuation of the drawing techniques of the Tuesdays of past. This isn't really a certified technique but it is used by artists none the less. It is the 'squiggles.' As cute as this name sounds, squiggles do mean business when drawing shrubs , hedges and tops of deciduous trees (ie trees with leaves). The technique of closer the lines, the darker the value, holds true for squiggles. Therefore, the lighter the value, the farther the squiggle lines are from each other.
