Today's #TuesdayToolsAndTechniques is all about hand made watercolour pans. Artists, not that long ago, made their paints, now it is a rarity and a treasure. I found out about Wildthorne ( @wildthorne ) from an Instagram fellow artist, Andrea Garvey ( @andreagarveyart ). Andrea had received a Wildthorne palette, from a friend, for her birthday. So I investigated.
And I fell in love. I loved the colours, the colour story she created with each palette, and that they were handmade with care and love. Please visit her webpage and you'll see the beautiful palettes that she creates. On top of it all, she uses artisan gemstones and minerals to create the watercolours. Therefore, I wasn't surprised that the majority of her palettes were sold out! But happy for me, I was able to snag two palettes that I love.
