For today's #FridayFinds I found Audible! Yes, Im a little late to the game, but now I'm hooked. I love books! And I love reading. Sometimes reading a book isn't the best idea, like when I'm driving, cleaning the house, shovelling the driveway and walk, and so on....but with a click on my Audible app and I'm listening to a great book.
As the video mentioned, I had a long dentist appointment. They have a TV and headphones for distraction, but I didn't like the choice of television as daytime TV I'm not impressed with. So, in comes Audible...I would be able to listen to a book with little chance of interruption. On the way to the city, for my appointment, I started to play my book, The High 5 Habit by Mel Robbins. I then continued the book when my dentist appointment got underway. I loved listening to a book, while in the chair, because I had to concentrate to every word spoken in the book; the noise from all the dentist's tools in my mouth had me focusing with all my might to the words spoken.
I have a great dentist, as I have mentioned before, but Mel Robbin's book was great to have on while having the procedure done. So, if you find yourself in the dentist chair, I highly recommend listening to a book on Audible.
