Not everyone likes to go to the dentist. Heck, a LOT of people don't like going to the dentist. However, this dentist changed the game for me. Her name is Dr. Eileen Jang. I've been going to see her for years...and years. She was brought to my attention from Ron Watson (now Dr. Ron Watson), who was a dental student at the University of Alberta. He mentioned to me his appreciation and awe of one of his teachers, at the U of A Dentistry Department, who was just an incredible dentist. So trusting Ron, I drove 2 hours (since I live in Athabasca and she is based in Edmonton) to have my first appointment with her. I went away actually enjoying my time at the dentist...which had never happened before.
I'm sharing Dr. Jang with you as I have recently had a tooth emergency. Lo and behold, all can be resolved with a crown. But my decision came after Dr. Jang explained to me all three options in resolving this tooth issue. She also explained the procedure of getting approved by insurance. And to top it off, she has a wonderful personality and way of putting the patient at ease (though truth be told, I have always been at ease with Dr. Jang). This type of detail to service is what I appreciate, and her dental work is with the patient's comfort at the forefront; i think that this grades her work above others.
