
How I Boosted My Confidence
If you're struggling to boost your confidence, take note.
The only thing harder than boosting your confidence is maintaining it.
There are the ongoing adjustments to make sure you stay on course, the bad days that make you want to throw in the towel and never-ending temptations and distraction.
But it's doable. I know, because I did it.
Here's how:
1 – Talk to yourself like you would someone you love.
The voice in your head has so much power. Be gentle, encouraging, and real with yourself. When that inner critic shows up, thank it for trying to protect you—and then choose to speak words of support instead.
2 – Do the brave thing in small ways every day.
Confidence doesn’t come from waiting until you feel ready. It grows through action. Whether it’s making a phone call, showing your art, or saying no when it matters—small wins build trust in yourself.
3 – Keep showing up, even when it’s messy.
Confidence is like a muscle. It grows when you keep showing up, especially on the hard days. Don’t wait for perfect. Just stay in motion. Your future self will thank you for it.
